Worked in the BBC funded Early Historic Project of Kopia under the supervision of Dr. Alok Kanungo (2006-2008).
Conducted an extensive survey of Bolangir Sambalpur,Sonepur,Athmalik and
Nuwapara diistrict Of Orissa and Raipur
and Mahasamund district of Chattisgarh. presently working on Rock art and Tribal art of South Orissa, Eastern India. Participation in Excavations: Participated in the excavation of Palaeolithic site of Barquinha, Portugal, from 24th August to 12th September 2009. Participated in the Palaeolithic excavation of Morgaon; Maharashtra February-March 2008. Participated in the excavations of Palaeolithic site of Astoli, Bundi Rajasthan Under the join supervision of Drs. Sheila Mishra and Reza Abbas in March-April 2007. Participated in the excavations at the early historic site of Sisupalgarh, Bhubaneswar, Orissa under the joint-supervision of Drs. Monika Smith (USA) and R. K. Mohanty, from December-February, subsequent years of 2006- 2007-2008. Participated in the excavations at the Early historic site of Junnar, District; Pune, Maharashtra under the supervision of Dr. V. S. Shinde in between December- January 2005-2006. Participated in the excavations at the Early Historic and Early Iron age site of Katipuleswar District Angul, Orissa under the supervision of Dr. P. K. Behera in February 2005 Participated in the excavations at the Mesolithic site of Burla, District; Sambalpur, Orissa under the supervision of Dr. P. K. Behera in January- February 2003-04. Attended the conference on“A Arte dos Guerreiros armas e armadas na arte rupestre europea”, held on April 20-21 in 2009 at Capo di Ponte, Italy. Attended the seminar on Celebration of Levi Strauss Birth Centenary and presented a Paper on “Rock art of Rajasthan” held on 25th November 2008 at Mação, Portugal. Attended the H.D.Sankalia Birth centenary Seminar, “Recent trends and methods in Indian Archaeology” held at Deccan College,Pune in December, 2007. Attended XXXV Joint annual conforence of Indian society for Prehistoric and Quaternary studies(ISPQS) and Indian archaeological society(IAS) held at Raipur December, 2007.
